CoAct is looking for a dedicated Accounts Officer to join our Finance team on a casual contract. If you enjoy working with data, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to ensuring smooth financial processes, we’d love to hear from you!

This is an entry-level role, and we’re looking for someone available for approximately 10 hours per week, with the possibility of more hours depending on workload.

This is a remote role, allowing you to work from home!

Job Description

A Little About The Role

In this role, you’ll help manage payments and invoices, keep track of money coming in and going out, and make sure everything is accurate and runs smoothly. You’ll work with both our team and external providers to process invoices, match payments, and help with any administrative tasks if needed.

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Prepare and send remittance advices to providers
  • Respond to account inquiries from providers and follow up as needed
  • Ensure all documents are filed correctly for audit compliance
  • Follow up and report on outstanding debts weekly
  • Handle employee reimbursements as required
  • Upload invoices, process payments, and reconcile bank transactions
  • Provide general administrative support to the finance team

Value-Added Experience & Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Solid understanding of business and financial applications related to accounting
  • Relevant accounting certificate
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • High attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills
